Privacy Policy

"We" means Home Run Bakery, the company that runs this store. "The bakery" means the bakery, which bakes and sells the food you order.

What we collect

• When you order. Your name, your email address and your phone number. Your delivery address, if you choose delivery. What you ordered, and the day and time you chose.
• When you sign in with Google. Your name, your email address, and the account number Google gives you. We use that number to know it is you. We also learn whether Google has confirmed your email address. We never see your Google password.
• Your account. Any name, phone number or addresses you save, and whether you asked for email about specials.
• Cookies. One cookie remembers your cart. One keeps you signed in. One setting remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Technical details. Your device's internet address and the pages you ask for, in our server logs. We use these to keep the store working and to stop abuse.

How we use it

• To prepare your order and get it to you.
• To email you about your order. That means a confirmation, a receipt, and a reminder when a payment is due.
• To let the bakery contact you about your order.
• To show you your past orders when you sign in.
• To email you about specials, but only if you asked for that. You can change your mind at checkout or in your account.
• To check that a delivery address is inside the bakery's delivery area.

Who can see it

• The bakery. It sees your order and your contact details. It is making your food and handing it to you.
• The companies that help us run the store. We host the store on Google Cloud. We send email through an email delivery company. When you check a delivery address, we send that address to a public address lookup service to measure the distance.
• Nobody else. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
• Payment. You pay the bakery directly, by the methods it lists. Home Run Bakery never sees or stores your card details.

How long we keep it

• Orders stay in the bakery's records. A bakery needs them for its own accounts.
• Your account stays until you ask to close it.
• Server logs are deleted automatically after a limited time.

Your choices

• You do not need an account to order. You can always check out as a guest.
• You can see and change your name, your phone number and your saved addresses in your account.
• You can turn email about specials on or off at checkout or in your account.
• You can ask the bakery, or us, to close your account and delete your details. Orders you have placed stay in the bakery's records.

Children

This store is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
